Officers were called to the Driftwood Court neighbourhood around 12:20am, when someone reported hearing gunshots. When they arrived, they found a bullet hole in the window of a nearby home. But even after Toronto's finest arrived, the gunshots, they say, didn't stop.
Someone from a nearby apartment building opened fire on the officers.
