There has been yet another violent incident outside a Toronto school. And this one has left a teen in hospital. It happened around the noon hour not far from Cedarbrae Collegiate Institute near Lawrence and Markham Rd. Police say the 15-year-old victim was accosted by up to four other black males who came up behind him in a park area near the campus and asked him his name. Without warning, they stabbed him in the back and then hit him over the head with a crowbar, causing a fractured skull.
Cops only learned of the crime when his friends drove him to hospital and the young man walked into the ER seeking treatment for the stab wound. He's listed in serious condition.
There have been no arrests and there's no word on any suspects but police have seized a security video from the park where the attack took place, hoping to get a closer look at those involved.
